PHIL - Passive loudspeaker for onwall placement

PHIL shows that a placement near a wall doesn't compromise sound quality. By unmounting the base plate you can even hang it on a wall. PHIL sounds much bigger than it looks and fills the whole room with very natural sounding music.

PHIL is an audioPHILe 2-way loudspeaker with a very compact arrangement of the drivers and a low crossover. It behaves like a point source with a very even dispersion to the sides. In the low frequency it benefits from the amplifying effect of the wall which is integrated in the alignment to get deep bass out of a small cabinet. The cabinet in MDF is well braced and doubled on the front side with Creanit®, an artificial stone.

For home-theatres PHIL can be combined with MURO. In big rooms and for the reproduction of the lowest octave a high-quality subwoofer is recommended.
